Salesman called me today and said Ram put a ban on selling New 19-20 2500 and 3500 Rams because of transmission recall.
I said how about Trucks with Aisin? He said,"I'll call you back".

68RFE potential for blowing fluid out of dipstick hole.

Just got my Recall notice yesterday.. Wondering if I should let them fix it or just spring for an aftermarket valve body. Got 10K on the clock and its already throwing codes P2459 Regen and a C212A low voltage. I should just go ahead and delete the MoFO….

I’ve got the letter in the truck now.
We’re at 14k on it since November.
We’ve not towed out fifth wheel with it yet but we did haul a small load of cows.
I’m going to pop the hood and see if there is any leakage out the tube now.
I’m less than impressed that they’re still having issues with this now and still building them so sloppy.
Just returned from the dealer.
Sevice dept says they have no valve body stock and don't have an ETA on any new ones.
He said they used up their allotment on trucks sitting in sales inventory and have 16 customers broke dick towed in waiting for the repair.
Evidently their is a major failure issue.
CRAP.

New generation/new trucks with updated/changed parts seem to always cause trouble.
Those of us that had new 2013 trucks had to wait around a year just to be able to get the fuel filter mounted under the bed because it was a new setup with Mopar having none of them in stock.

I called yesterday to get the recall looked at.
They have 2 of 3 parts but no eta on the 3rd to get it fixed.
The local dealer didn’t even really know about what the letter said about towing to max capacity like my fifth wheel is 400 lbs under that.
