    Good news for us.

The wife took it in and they got the last part and fixed the recalls this morning.

She said it shifts better now as well so we must have had some leakage across it.

    Re: 2019 -2020 Recall

    There's two recalls - WO3 and VB6.

The WO3 is that transmission valve body.

My letter shows a picture of transmission temperature and says to stop if it goes to 210.

Well I just returned from a rather good tow of the toy hauler and could not get the transmission above 167*. I say bull.

Now the VB6 is and engine recalibration.

That kind of scares me. They want to reprogram the power control module...."to improve emission control performance". Bull on that. I want things to run good or better, using less DEF.

Shove that emissions stuff as mine sure runs nice and clean.

My take there is it could be bad for both performance and fuel mileage.

Hoping someone that has had it done would report back and explain just what it does.

As soon as we get some time on ours I’ll report back. My fifth wheel is right at 15k loaded. I seen higher than 190 just with my cattle trailer in the mountains at home with a couple cows. The wife said it seemed to shift better when she left the dealer ship with it. I’ll drive it tomorrow and Sunday and see what I think. I might even take the fifth wheel to get washed on Sunday.

Will pay attention and see what you find. Read a guess that it might reduce DEF consumption. No clue what it might do to any throttle delay, power or fuel mileage.

Bet there are more than a few interested in your conclusions.

I hope DEF use goes down.

It uses a tank every 3500 miles now.

I just did both the transmission and emissions recall on my 2500 last week.

It seems smoother shifting with different shift points.

Have not towed with it yet.

Apparently they replaced the valve body.

We will see if the emissions update reduces DEF usage.

It hasn’t reduced DEF usage any.

The truck runs like it got tuned from stock with the valve body and reflash.

It used a tank in 900 miles pulling my fifth wheel.
