To delete or not delete

I have decided I will delete it and see how it goes.

I messed up 6yrs ago when I bought my dads D-Max which is what i traded in for the new 2016.

I got ride of my 1999 ram 2500 that I had the full banks power pack setup on.

But it still struggled to pull our 21' toy hauler across the mountains.. so I bought the D-Max.

But I'm back in a dodge now and hoping that with the delete it will be as reliable as my 99 was.

I primarily use the truck for towing and it sits a lot as I have a company vehicle that I drive.

I bought truck in Dec 19 with 85k on her already.

Was looking at DRD emission tune but he stats not to use it on trucks with more than 50k.

I feel like I'm in a round about and don't know what exit to take so I just keep going in circles.

I am running DRD EGRLess at just under 100K miles.

Been on there since 7K miles.

If it does mostly towing, is up to temp regularly, and gets worked, I would think you are going to be okay.

I immediately felt like I had a new truck.

Been on there since 7K miles.

If it does mostly towing, is up to temp regularly, and gets worked, I would think you are going to be okay.

Would doing an EGRLess tune pass smog?

I’m in Cali.

Do you just set it back to stock tune (turn EGR back on) then smog it?

How are people handling this in states like Cali?

I’m sure this has been asked before couldn’t find in search.

I am in NJ and inspection exempt, but You can simply load the stock tune and go again.

The EGR has nothing to do with towing capability.

Everything is still in place on my truck, just turned off.

I have crossed the scales well heavier than I should have been a few times.
