67500 mile Service Required Message for Cab & Chassis models

I have a 2016 Cab & Chassis Model SLT.

I know the CCV filter is one of the components that I will be replacing this week.

Is there a requirement on the Cab & Chassis models to remove and clean the EGR Cooler as part of this service?

Are there any other components that I am not addressing at this mile service point?

I had found some threads that suggested this year group and model did not require the EGR cooler cleaning because of the DEF but not sure why that would be a factor.

Figured someone here would know for sure.

If I do have to remove it for cleaning I would like to just delete it but I am still on the fence due to having a Aisin transmission on this truck.

Anyway your thoughts on the matter above are appreciated.

No sir it’s not a requirement but an inspection is not a bad idea.

The second time you do the CCV is when it turns into a requirement for the DEF trucks.

The pre def trucks the 67,500 mile service it is required to clean.

Just a quick suggestion don’t let having the Aisin transmission deter you from tuning your engine. Your transmission will handle the extra 120 HP just fine.
