    2012 3500 w/AAM 11.5 Rear Axle

    Not sure weather it is a locker or limited slip carrier.

    I do know it is not a open carrier.

    With that being said I did a rear axle service and used mobile 1 full synthetic 75-90.

    Does the rear also require an additive?

    I know my Chevy z-71 needed a additive.

    Not sure about the aam.

    2012 ram 3500, 4 door 2 wheel drive, small 25 hp tune
    arp 625, gdp progate, heatergrid delete, race valve, fass 150 platinum,
    bd 68 protect kit, bd single stack trans cooler, and deep trans pan, bd diff cover, sinister egr delete(well some of it), 4" turbo back exhaust.
    soon will be a ats or bd VGT turbo and a revmax 700 with drd tunes.

    If it's stock, they are a torsen limited slip. All worm gear, no clutches so no additive to worry about.

    They work by basically binding the worm gears against each other, so carefully going to slick of a synthetic in them or they become an open diff.

    They actually work better with normal 80-90 conventional oil.
