Said they sent an audio clip of the noise to Star but had no indication it was EGR and cannot pin point it at all.

So now I've been lied to by my service rep, been told by my salesman that they'd see about getting me in a different truck, and the director telling me they're clueless and sending audio samples to engineers at Chrysler.

    About to walk away.
I'm sorry to say this, but welcome to what has been my world since November.

Contact FCA customer care and escalate it.

Tell them you want it fixed or you want a different truck.

No idea, but obviously something was wrong. They swapped the entire engine, but they took more than 60 days. And after 30 days, Florida considers the truck a lemon.

So with that, along with an engine being swapped by an incompetent tech, I decided that it was best to demand refund.

After a month we came to a compromise and now I will be getting a new truck.

Star case results: RAM engineers say normal operating noise on 2019 EGR process.

    Kind of baffled.

Another guy got his engine replaced.

Maybe they are just tired of dealing with broken engines.
