Check Engine Light after Oil Change

OK, I need some info if anyone has seen it before.

Completed my first (done by me) oil change.

The truck is “upgraded” with MM3 and it has 10.5k miles. Just did an oil change with T6 5w-30 synthetic.

Didn’t do anything else (both burp filters did the previous week without issues).

Now I have received a check engine light with code.

    What should I look for?

Tried auto start this morning as it was cold and it stopped it saying “auto-start was canceled start truck to reset”

    Thanks

From what I have seen is that it could be the thermostat, fan clutch or the truck could need to see the dealer for a software update.

It's hard to tell which one it might be but I would start with the cheapest for sure.

Also, check to see if there are any recalls needed for your truck such as a software update and you may find it there.

Record the code and clear it. If comes back on then proceed with diagnostic.

Haven’t had the code come back on since.

From reading about it this code can populate if the truck wasn’t warm before starting to drive.
