    68RFE line pressures

    I got a pressure concern.
running a bd 68 protect kit. I believe line pressures prior to bd cooler install were around 50 to 60 psi. now I am getting 124 at idle and 159 in gear.
does any one know what the line pressures should be. I may be over thinking this or I may have a bad sensor

the desired line pressure and the actual line pressures are spot on.

I have a snapon solus so I am able to see alot of pid's.

Are you running any trans tuning? Or just the BD plate?

160-170psi is all a stock valve body will hold, even with the BD plate.

With Ray's tuning and stock valve body, I see 110-120psi at idle. Cruising at partial throttle it's around 110psi. Hits 160psi as I roll into the throttle.

I am running the bd plate and pressure controller. I keep getting a p0933.

    2012 ram 3500, 4 door 2 wheel drive, small 25 hp tune
arp 625, gdp progate, heatergrid delete, race valve, fass 150 platinum,
bd 68 protect kit, bd single stack trans cooler, and deep trans pan, bd diff cover, sinister egr delete(well some of it), 4" turbo back exhaust.
soon will be a ats or bd VGT turbo and a revmax 700 with drd tunes.

Could be just a bad sensor.

    That's where I'd start.

I found this thread for you, as well. Hope it helps: https://www.igotacummins.com/threads/14296-Code-P0933

    Well issue resolved (I hope).

The problem started after a BD single stack cooler install.

I ordered a new BD pan and OEM filters and fluid.

Did a trans service today and all issues are gone.

The last trans service was done by the ram dealer at 60k and the filters were not Mopar filters (why I don't know).

The pressure fluctuations and stopped 1st gear surge is gone.
