    Turbo ID Question

I recently purchased a 2012 3500 not sure what all has been changed on it other than the obvious deletes.

I don’t think it’s a factory turbo on it but the only thing I can find stamped is 063G Borg Warner.

    Re: Turbo ID Question

So it’s not a VGT turbo wouldn’t that require special tuning also?

    Re: Turbo ID Question

Right non VGT, as the tuning goes I'd say yes but I've heard people say they just swapped it out and ran it.

I'd definitely tune for it because you would get the most out of a slightly bigger turbo.

    Plus no cel.

What about a picture looking at it from the top of the engine bay, exhaust manifold and all?

    Re: Turbo ID Question

Well its got head studs that's a plus ,hopefully they installed them correctly or went back in for a re torque. Looks like a ATS 3 piece manifold, who knows what kit it actually is or just something someone pieced together. Also wonder if that's a fleece coolant bypass that's running along the head in the braided line , I cant tell if it goes behind the back of the head.
