    Remote start - 12Volt Solutions

If you are looking for a remote start and do not want to pay the $600- $800 for dealer setup check out 12Volt Solutions.

They make a plug and play system that uses your factory key fob, no splicing required.

Push the lock button 3 times and remote start is activated. The system comes with a wiring harness that uses the factory plug from your ignition module, trailer brake module and light switch module. Literally takes 5 minutes.

The only negative is you have to program your key fob to the device and send it back for final programming. You can pay an extra $100 if you want 12Volt Solutions to remotely program the module. I sent mine back and had it back in the truck the same week. Did not take a picture of the device and harness prior to install because I was excited to install it.

They have a good video on YouTube.

Here is a video with the remote start and the Kussmaul Auto-Eject installed. The wife would sometimes forget to unplug when leaving.

I had no idea that an auto eject block heater plug even existed.

    That’s freaking sweet!

I like that auto eject system and the aftermarket remote start.

Do you have a link on where to purchase the auto eject?

    Thanks for posting this.

The auto eject is sold at most fireman supply companies.

    I bought mine from https://firesafetyusa.com/products/kussmaul-auto-eject

They are pricey but well built, will last a long time.

Replacement parts available from manufacturer if ever needed.

Have some of these on trucks at work and never had one break.
