I did end up modifying the valve body on the transmission.
At that time, I purchased new tuning from DRD, which solved the problem.

^Great news thanks for the update.
That was a little bit weird!
I'll make sure before I get a retune for the VB that my truck isn't making weird noises LOL.
I needed the re tune for valve body mods.
The retune also happened to take care of my high idle nosie issue because the whole tune file was updated, not just the transmission part.
Hope that makes sense to you now.
I watched your youtube video you sent me in the PM.
Definately not the same issue I was having.
That sounds like a turbo vane position issue to me.
Maybe the vanes are sticking or the tune is closing the vanes too much for high idle RPM.
I'd like to see what your exhaust back pressure is spiking to before it pops off repeately.
I would not let it keep doing that.
Disable the exhaust brake during warmup until you get it fixed.
I also wonder if there is a problem with your exhaust backpressure sensor, or maybe the tube from the exhaust manifold to the backpressure sensor is clogged with soot.
