    EGR Cooler Exit Cap

Looking to see if anyone knows where I can find a plug/cap for the exit of the EGR cooler.

    Thanks all!

Thanks for the reply. I believe it’s a Dorman freeze plug you’re talking about. I’m hoping to find a cap that can be installed with the oem v-band clamp.

Oh okay i understand what your saying now. Worst case you can always make one which shouldnt be too bad at all just use a grinder to make the circle and the edge to fit into the V-band

    Not a bad idea.

I’ll keep that in mind, thanks.

I believe people are making them.

They are just a piece of steel cut to fit. You could buy the same size v-clamp kit that includes both ends for the pipe but you would still be welding up the pipe and it would probably cost a lot more.

2013 2500 6.7 cummins crew cab. white and stock as can be.

If it were not for bad luck I would have no luck at all.

I cut mine out of a piece of flat stock and ground it round.

    Worked great.

Awesome! Do you remember the diameter and thickness you used by chance?

I think it was 1/8" stock... just something I had laying around in the shop. I marked it using the crossover tube flange with a marker and then ground my mark off.
