Good Morning.
I just made it home with my truck saying it will only go 5mph at restart.
I have pumped out the DEF put in more.
This has cleared it before but I think my sensor is bad. It’s a 2015 2500 Cummins 4x4. I’m trying to decide if I should replace the sensor and clean nozzle while I’m at it.
But how will I reset computer?
Get a complete def delete system.
If I do this how will I reset the computer?
Help!

If your truck still has any waranty left that you care about I would stay stock. If not and the state your in does not do emissions test then like others said " go to the rabbit hole ". I ran deleted on my old truck and was very happy with it. No issues with DPF/DEF and the truck runs much better. MPG's went up, oil cleaner. I was able to see in the summer over 20 MPG long hwy trips with a 3500 CC DRW with 4.10s. My new truck not so much being its all stock. (for now). If you get the delete kit and clear any CEL's you should have no issue in writing to the ECM and then do away with the hard parts. Its easy and with two people a case of beer and some tools you can be up and running in 4-6 hours.

Yup... time for some parts to fall off
Aint a real bad job for 2 guys. Took me a bit longer than 4-6 hours though. How long yer stock pipes was on will have some effect on that

Same thing happened to mine (2015 3500)
on way home for Christmas. 545 miles out of warranty on the emissions. Dealer quoted me $9300 parts and labor. I rented a car and went home. I ordered exhaust and delete kit then got up with DRD
ordered complete tuning package. All for a total of $2700. After Christmas break I drove 11 hrs to the dealer and was like I’m gonna use your Parking lot for a few hrs. Installed everything and couldn’t be happier with the tuner. If you decide to delete absolutely go with Ray at DRD you will not be disappointed.
