Tuner Recommendation for Stock 2015 RAM 3500

I've got a 2015 3500 DRW LB fully stock with 144,000 miles on it.

I've been looking at the Edge JWA CTS2.

This truck is used for daily commute (20 miles one way) as well as fifth wheel towing at least once a month.

I have no intention of deleting and am just interested in moderate performance gains as well as the ability to monitor parameters.

Haven't really seen much else to choose from, but are there any other recommendations?

Edie JWA is a solid choice for a bit of a performance boost and the monitor platform is probably the best available.

Just be cautious adding too much power since the JWA does not have anything to adjust the trans settings.

This truck is a recent purchase.

I had to swap out the downstream NOx sensor, but haven't had any DPF issues.

Other than going into limp mode, what other symptoms would I have if there were DPF issues?

The more the DPF gets clogged the more often it will Regen trying to clean itself out.

Not sure on the 15's how easy it is to till when in Regen.

I've actually been trying to look up info on how to tell when it's in Regen. I figured for an active Regen a message would pop up telling me it's doing so, but I haven't seen anything. I drive aabout 20 miles in to work each day, mostly highway. Not sure if that's enough for the passive Regen to work and keep the DPF clean.

My 2019 pops up a message and you can also tell because it runs crappy and fuel milage gage goes down.

I'm about the same as you. I drive 40 mile round trip to work and pull a big horse trailer in the summer.

It varies depending on my driving.

    Its done it 1000 miles.

Its gone a couple K without doing it.

I just did a 3 week road trip 5000 miles and it never Regened.

I try not to baby it.

If I stop and let it idle while feeding our horses I try to keep the high idle turned on.

I highly recommend an EGT probe install with edge.

It will make more power but last I knew it was simply by adding fuel and slightly changing timing. Adding fuel and keeping other ECM parameters the same make for things to get hot in a hurry.

With a 6.7 I would say once you’re pushing 1250-1300*F then start looking to back down a bit.

Anything more than that is asking for trouble IMO.
