    6” Coils with 2” Spacer?

I have a 2004 Ram 3500 with a 6” spacer lift right now and was wondering if I would be able to swap the spacers for a 6” coil and stack a 2” spacer on top without any modifications to the rest of the lift kit?

Reason being is because I’m in the market for new wheels and tires and was looking at running a 20x14 wrapped with 38x15.5’s.

I was also thinking of keeping the current lift specs and running a 24x14 wrapped with 37x13.5’s but I don’t like the idea of stretching a tire.

First of all, with trimming is it possible to run a 38x15.5 with that wheel width on a 6” kit?

Ideally I’d jack the front end up another 2”, but has anyone done it? And before you hate, yes it’s a mall crawler build. I don’t tow and have no urge to off-road it.

Going to be ordering the new setup in a week or two and need some insight beforehand.

    Thanks!

Current setup is on the 6” spacer lift with 18x10 and 35x11.5.

If you need to use a spacer to clear a tire, what happens when you hit a bump?

Your suspension compresses and you no longer have that clearance.

I was just asking for a gee wiz because I know most people running 38’s have an 8” kit.

I know it’ll most likely rip fenders but I’m eventually going to glass.
