2001 timing cover issue! Please help!

I have a 2001 ram 2500 with the non high output 5.9 24v I've had a leak between the gear housing and the timing cover I had purchased a new timing cover and the place I had ordered it from even took my engine serial number to try and make sure it was the correct one. My issue is the timing cover seems to be the same until you get to the bottom of the passenger side the old cover that came off is perfectly straight under where the vacuum pump gear is. the new cover that they sent me has an arc under the vacuum pump gear and does not mate correctly to the gear housing. The new part number they sent me is cummins #3941824 any help would be greatly appreciated as I am sitting here without the correct cover and gear case uncovered.. just my luck LOL. Thanks in advance!
