I have a 2001 RAM 2500 with a nonhigh output of 5.9L 24V.

It leaked into the gear housing and the timing cover.

I purchased a new timing cover, and the place I had ordered it from even took my engine serial number to ensure it was the correct one.

My issue is the timing cover seems to be the same until you get to the bottom of the passenger side.

The old cover that came off is perfectly straight under where the vacuum pump gear is.

The new body they sent me has an arc under the vacuum pump gear and does not mate correctly to the gear housing.

The new part number they sent me is Cummins #3941824.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am sitting here without the correct cover and gear case uncovered just my luck, LOL.

I appreciate any help you can provide.
