    Transmission vibrations?

Thanks in advance for any idea on what's going on.

Within the past few months I have deleted my 2015.

    I've got 5" exhaust w/o a muffler and running a raceme tuner.

I have tuned the transmission to a stock tune.

My question is that every time I slow to a stop the truck vibrates pretty bad.

I have figured out if after I stop I put it neutral and back in drive and the vibration stops.

While driving I dont seem to have any issues with it.

Any ideas what it could be?

I'd have to feel it to make a call.

How many miles on the truck and how hard are you on it?

Are you sure it's not the exhaust vibrating on the cross members of the frame right above the axle?

I'd start there and check for clearance issues.

    Re: Transmission vibrations?

    I've got 93k on a 2015.

I only tow a 7k pound trailer with it. I don't drive hard.

The occasional "rolling coal" but not too much.

Just to give you an idea I get an average of 18 mpg driving not in tow.

    5 hour freeway trip I got 22.

So I think I drive pretty conservative.

Just wanted to thank you again.

I was finally able to further investigate the possible clearance issue and find that the down pipe right off the turbo was barely touching the frame.

    No more vibration!
