Is a Pedal Commander useful for a Compound Turbo Diesel?

Hello everyone I just wanted to know anybody’s thoughts on using a pedal commander on a compound turbo Cummins is worth paying the $300 for one?

Or would it beneficial or dangerous?

Reason I ask I’m running a stock over a 369sxe not much lag but I was thinking of purchasing a pedal commander thanks for your time.

They add zero power, they simulate a more power "feeling" by exaggerating your throttle position.

For example, you may be applying 25% throttle physically but the pedal commander is actually applying 45% throttle electronically hence why it feels like you have more power.

This also works vice versa, you may physically be applying 45% throttle while the Pedal Commander is applying only 25% throttle electronically.

The latter may possibly net you a slight gain in mpg.

Pedal commanders are huge in the Tacoma/4Runner world and a lot of people love them.
