ATS Thermal Bypass Valve Upgrade for the 68RFE

Has anyone installed one of these bypass values on there 68RFE?

If so, like to get your thoughts on it.

I have the RevMax bypass and deep oil pan.

Just hauled 4 snowmobiles in a 24' car hauler over the weekend and my trans stayed right at 140 degrees doing 80mph.

I don't worry about my trans overheating while towing anymore.

I would recommend RevMax over ATS as well.

We sell both just more of the ones from RevMax.

Yes! For the life of my 68RFE it was the best investment to date.

If you live in a extremely cold climate & only tow some of the time - I would think long & hard before investing.

My ATF temps never get close to 135*F during the winter months.

    Summer - not towing - highest I've seen was 158*F (during 2 1/2 hr interstate trek @ 75-85mph.

Spring time - A PML deep pan is being installed as well - to make servicing a mess free adventure.
