    Best Tires?

What’s the best tire to run on these heavy trucks?

I have been running 35x12.50r20 toyo mt’s and absolutely love them but they’ve recently gone up to about $400 a tire which is outrageous!

I also tow a lot so I’m obviously not going to get great tread life out of any tire but wondering what’s and affordable mud tire that doesn’t seem to burn up to quick on these heavy trucks.

Does it have to be a MT? I've always ran an AT and have no complaints with the Cooper AT3 or the Nitto Terra Grappler.

The Nitto has been my go to for the last 3 sets of tires I bought between 3 trucks.

    Riveted Flares • 20% Tint

You can get the price down a bit if you'd be willing to run a 33"

I just put some General Grabber x3 M/T on and they have driven well and are shockingly quiet.

You're not going to get great life out of any mud tire so just going for cost savings might be the best bet.

    Rotate often.

I only went with the Generals because I get them steeply discounted through work so I don't mind burning up the mudders and replacing more often.

I’m not opposed to an all terrain I just don’t like the nitto terra graps, they just don’t look aggressive enough to me.

I’ve always liked the big Goodrich all terrain but I’ve heard they can contribute to the death wobble on these trucks.

That's true on the the older trucks, 2011 and older. Haven't heard that on the 2012 and newer when Ram finally changed the suspension setup.

I like my 35x12.50 Cooper AT3 XLT but they may not look beefy enough for you.

They do look better than most AT tires IMO.
