I don't like the big wheel look on trucks so I have 3rd Gen 17’s I pained black with 34” tires, no lift.

Going from 17’s to 20’s, all else being the same, it will ride harder and the tires will cost a good amount more.

No complaints on ride comfort. I'm in the MD/DC area, roads aren't that great here.

Here's a picture of my setup with a skid steer in tow.

Thuren 2" leveling kit • Fox shocks w/resi's
up front • 20x10 American Force SS wrapped with 34" Nitto Terra Grapplers
    Riveted Flares • 20% Tint
Those Fox shocks I'm sure make a good bit of difference.

And if I'm not mistaken, you have the rear coils as opposed to my leafs in the rear?

You are correct, I do have coils in the rear. But I also had an 06 5.9 QCSB and ran Thurens 3" lift with Fox resi's at all 4 corners along with his heavy duty steering upgrade, 20x9 HD Hoss wheels on a 34" tire, best decision I've ever made! Night and day difference how that truck handled. A friend of mine told me that my old truck is running around in PA somewhere, I would love to have that one back!

    NoNeck,

if you like the look of your plastic dipped wheels, get them powder coated with the same pattern. I would be willing to bet there is a couple of places local to you that would be able to recreate the pattern in powder coat for 4-500 for the set. The other option is rattle can paint.

I’m running 20" summer and 17" with spikes in winter. 17" is much smoother for sure

I've considered both. Great idea, but I think I'm going with some aftermarket for that little extra bling.

Happy blinging. Post up the result one they are mounted. 20’s for the show, 18’s for the go and tire selection.
