    New Wheels. 17,18 or 20?

I'm considering new wheels when these tires wear out. I'm running 35s and plastidipped my OEM wheels.

I'm tired of having to redo the dip every year but love the look. (The dip fails because of the line that I tape off and remove to expose the polished wheel) I was planning on 20s but will it ride even rougher than it does now?

I tow a 10k travel trailer and 10k dump trailer occasionally.

    My stock wheels are 17s.

Obviously it rides rough now. Will 20s make it worse?

    Is that even possible?

More sidewall will be a Softer ride for sure. If you go with a 18" there are many choices for wheels and tires.

That was pretty much what I was thinking exactly.

I like the look for sure I'm just thinking with those baby's aired up they gotta feel like bricks. I mean let's face it these things don't ride great to begin with.

I like my 18”. Me personally, I like thicker sidewalls, less chance of bending a rim. Plus it looks beefier. LOL

My 20s definitely ride rougher than 17s I had before. But, the 20s feel more stable when pulling to the camper. When I do it again I will go with 18s hoping for the happy medium.

Yeah that is probably the right choice for me 18's. Especially in Pennsylvania.

The roads here already beat me up.

20's despite the look that I like may put me over the edge.

I find myself cursing the crappy roads here on a daily basis!

As much as I hate chrome, my truck has some. (I prefer the sport with no chrome) but I just found these and they may tie everything together nicely.

Picking wheels is about as easy as naming your kids... and we named my son on the way to the hospital LOL!

I run a 20" wheel with a 34" tire on a Thuren 2" leveling kit with Fox resi's up front and Fox 2.0 in the rear.

No complaints on ride comfort. I'm in the MD/DC area, roads aren't that great here.

Here's a picture of my setup with a skid steer in tow.

    DRD Tuned • S&B CAI • 5" Exhaust
Thuren 2" leveling kit • Fox shocks w/resi's
up front • 20x10 American Force SS wrapped with 34" Nitto Terra Grapplers
    Riveted Flares • 20% Tint
