    MM3 Suction Cup Mount Problem?

Hey Guys and Gals, I just got my MM3 in from DRD.

For the life of me I can not get the suction cup mount to slide into the monitor.

It looks like the slots line up fine but I can not seem to get it to slide up into them all the way.

I have put about as much muscle into it as I feel I can with out breaking something on the monitor.

I feel dumb asking the question but is there some sort of trick to it? Seems like it should just slide up and hang out.

The Name on the mount I received is Arkon.

    Attached some photos as well.

    Thanks!

Is the monitor tight as you have it on the mount now?

I don’t use this type of bracket and mount but if it’s on there tight, then I would leave it like it is.

No its not secure at all.

It’s actually just sitting with the weight of the monitor on the mount.

If I tilt it in any direction it will fall off

I haven’t used this type of mount either.

Looking at the photos I would try backing off the knurled knob in the rear first.

Give that a try if that doesn’t work try spraying a little silicone lube on the brackets.

I was just installing mine tonight.

    Push hard.
