Not sure if using Road Force balancing but two different shops had similar results.

Stopped by my usual tire place today (bought the KO2's while out of town) and owner said he will rotate them for free and see if that changes anything.

    I'll keep updating.

    Maybe help someone else out.

so if a regular weight balance helped. a road force balance should improve it more.

Road force balancing, sometimes called ride matching, is the most effective way to diagnose and resolve runout or force variation vibrations.

A road force tire balancer uses a load-roller to simulate the force of the road and gather the combined uniformity of a wheel and tire package.

This is what I could find on Google if it helps.

    That sums it up.

Pretty much balancing a tire with close to real driving conditions.

    Regarding alignment...

There is a good article from Thuren Fabrication regarding the correct alignment for solid axle trucks with solid tie rods.

This is the alignment spec I run for my rig, I don't follow the Dodge spec that requires a certain amount of toe.

    Here is the article: https://www.thurenfabrication.com/te...-handling.html

Also, I am running Cooper ST MAXX 315/70/17 tires and love them.

I had Cooper ATP's before and liked those also.

I run a D2 load on mine so I get same carrying power at a lower pressure, which makes it ride better.

I don't tow too often, which is where an E load rated tire would be better.

    Re: Highway Shake

The saga continues...had the KO2's rotated from front to rear.

Shake was better but still there.

Went back to have guy from the second tire shop (my usual place) to check them out.

Finally pulled all 4 tires from the truck and did new balances on all tires.

One tire needed so much weight that he spun the tire 180 degrees on the rim.

Shake is still there (slightly better). He checked wheel bearings, etc. and he said all steering components are good so he suggested I have the drive line checked.

I had really bad shake with a set of tires where it would cause death wobble at times.

Just replaced the the tires and the shaking and death wobble is gone.

    Re: Highway Shake

Sorry it's been so long but here's an update...

Took truck to drive train specialist. Before we even got up to speed he said it felt like I had two bad tires. One not round and one with a sidewall with a shallow spot. Pretty impressive. Went back to my normal tire guy and told him. He called BFG.

After months of emails and calls, BFG replaced all 4 tires at no expense. Shake gone.

Talked to tire guy while he was replacing tires and he said BFG quality control has gone way down. He said it's almost like they are letting the consumer do the quality control. If bad enough the customer will return.

Not a lot of desire to purchase BFG in future. Especially when I have had other tire manufacturers go above and beyond to help me.
