    2018 Running Board Recommendations

So the wife is pregnant and its time to add some steps to make it easier for her to get in and out. I want something simple that doesn't hang low as I love the way my truck looks without them, and I also do not want the added chance of malfunctions with an electric step. Any ideas guys? I really like the Go Rhino running boards as they sit high and tight, and I'm not a fan of how the NFabs look. Any other recommendations to check out?

Amp power steps is really your best option. I just put a set on my truck and can't believe how much better they are then a regular fixed step. As far as malfunctions, I know people that have been using them for years in all conditions with no issues.

I have Lund Attitude steps. I had them sprayed with LineX. Best steps I’ve ever had. As mentioned you wanted something out of the way and the Amp power steps would be your best bet.

If you get regular high steps it will still be difficult for your wife to get in and out of being pregnant. I’m assuming your profile pic is the truck your referring too?

    Btw nice rig!

Check out the Westin HDX #56-13565.

They may be bulkier than what you're wanting.

My vote goes to AMP as well for the sleek/hidden look, they have a good warranty and people love them.

I went against the grain and tried the ADD Stealth steps. Not obvious to those not looking at them, and sit high and tight out of the way.

I like my APG iArmor steps. Lightweight yet strong and stable, not to mention they were not too expensive.

I went with the RBP stealth boards dual motors for each board and come with led lights for when dark.

Same concept as Amp steps but a better warranty they fit tight under the truck.

I didn't realize RBP made power steps. I just looked them up.

Not bad and a bit cheaper than AMP too.

I run the amp power steps (hard wired) and have had zero issues.

I will say You don’t realize how much you open and close your vehicles door until you have these!
