@Jake Z. That unit always does that. It starts off with 25, then 50 and so on. It's checking the battery in a preprogrammed way. When the green 100% 1st indicates, it will flash. Then solid green. After a period of time, it will start the cycle again. This is normal. (My wife car has sat for 3 months now and this has been happening the entire time.) If there is a build up on the plates, this will also knock off the debris, keeping it as clean and new as possible.

These units are great. But as I believe in, have it unit plugged into a surge protected outlet or light bar. I had lighting hit my power lines coming into my house and the hit took out my TV and more, plus had my charger smoking. It would have been better it I had them on a protected line. Lessen learned.
