There are many out there, but when I do parts change out on my cummins, I stay with cummins. Had the ones from Stant and such, which worked fine in many of my vehicles ... but swung the temp to much for my truck. The cummins ones cost more, but a way better product and works perfect. Now, do you really need a new Stat ? If you can do the boiling water test and it works properly, get a new gasket and go for it. Just because you might want to change coolant, doesn't mean you need to change the hardware. They last longer than most people think. Stay the stock temp.
