Does the shift lever block the screen some when in drive?

I was looking at that today riding down the road and it seemed like the lever would block it a bit.

Blocks the top of the screen, just a hair. Of course depending on how you sit. I was thinking of putting the EGT, up there, with alarm set. No need to see it most of the time. Always displays the max. Just a thought.

I’m going to try this mount.

Made specifically for the Ram. It was on sale for Black Friday for $25.

It’s in route to me. Waiting on it to come in.

That looks quick and painless. Probably even velcro might work

The instructions online say there are screws in that “pocket” and you just screw this mount into those screw holes.

We will see what happens when it gets here.

For the 2012 and older which mine is it kind of sandwiches in the gap between the dash and that sunglass holder or whatever it is just pry it away . In any case the MM3 is small and light. Cant be to hard to route the cables there and Mount the MM3. 25.00 far cheaper than the pillars. I might go this route myself.

The main problem with most surface mounts is the wire poking out.

Stressing the connection, eventually damaging it.

This should be 90 degrees, with a cord going up, hope it helps & works.
