City Diesel Actuator for 2013+ Cummins 6.7L

@cwendel do you have any tips or tricks you learned while installing your actuator I got the call from Geno’s today that mine is being shipped out.

Pull the grill from the truck to drain the coolant. I did it both ways and pulling the grill makes it all so much easier.
And make sure to pull the inner wheel house. Don't try to do the job without.
Make sure to have some zip ties as the the new wiring is a little longer than stock.

I used a length of tubing and attached it to the nipple below the drain plug.

Got almost all of my coolant into a 5 gallon bucket with room to spare.

I think the tubing was 1/2".

If it were not for bad luck I would have no luck at all.

Isn’t the drain plug on the bottom driver side of the radiator? Can’t you reach it without removing the grill?

Before you install I would check with Jason at City Diesel to make sure you have one of the newer units and not old stock. 2011 Holset HE351VE possible actuator issue

Yes, but it’s a hell of a lot easier with the grill removed.
