Absolutely positive, this information came from Doctor DRD.

I'm still reading other things that are saying not to and that you will lose you exhaust brake, throw a SES code, has something to do with the VGT, among some other things.

If I recall correctly they were addressing the issue with the exhaust pressure sensor electrically disconnected and the connections to the ECM getting contaminated. My advice would be to disconnect the pressure sensor electrical connector and either install a Shipley plug or tape up to protect from the elements. Try this for a few weeks, then if all goes well remove the pressure sensor and plug the manifold.

I ran mine unplugged for a while before recently upgrading to fixed vane turbo and 3rd Gen manifold.

I just have the hole plugged now.

No sensor or anything to clean up the engine bay a bit.

What size pipe plug is needed to remove sensor and plug manifold?

Not to hijack this(sorry), but I'm having an issue exactly related to this sensor.

I have the EGR deleted as well but getting a P0472 error code.

How is this even possible when I haven't had the sensor plugged in for years?
