Given the knowledge that the valve bodies are less than stellar would the valve body be a worthwhile upgrade?

I just changed mine out last night to the Revmax High Performance Towing/HD valve body and it was as simple as can be. I added the metal spin on filter screw and Zerostat trans cooler bypass when doing the install. The whole process took maybe 1.5-2.0 hours. I’m still in the babying phase for 200 miles while she learns her new values, but I can already tell how much smoother it is between shifts. I can’t believe how thin the accumulator plate is on the stock valve body with only four bolts holding it in. The new one is at least three times as thick with three times as many bolts added to hold it in place.
Everyone I know can’t believe I tore into my 2018 Ram 2500 with only 18k miles on it, but I’m glad I did. Anything I can throw at the 68RFE will hopefully keep me from being stranded in the middle of nowhere.
Good Luck!

Maybee???
Hey guys, I think anybody with this trans should do this upgrade. My trans just went towing in stop and go traffic. Was in tow/haul mode and tow tune. Have been tuned since new. 38,000 miles now. I'm not hard on the truck. Usually run a #4 tune. Have 4.10 gears installed on 35in tires. Seems you never know when it's going to happen. Having trans built to hold 700hp.

Dang man, sorry to hear that. As my truck ages that is my only real concern. You having a local shop build it or ordering a complete unit?

Yes a local shop is doing the rebuild. Will let you know what they find out. Thinking valve body and clutches are gone. Upgrading everything. Expensive but hopefully worth it.
That’s what I am looking into before a tune .. shredded my 48 in my 2005 after I did injectors and smarty and turbo .. learning the hard way back then .. now I am going to upgrade to rev max valvebody and converter before I tune
I've about decided I'm going to give this a try.... https://nextgendiesel.com/products/6...28109460832336
Thoughts?
Did the same thing to my 15 2500. But I also did the shift pack solenoids. Seemed to help. Getting my truck tuned this week so I will see how much it helps with the new trans tune.
