RevMax valve body is really your best and only option unless you got a spare 8-10 grand for a full transmission.

Agreed.

Either baby it in stock form and it should last quite some time.

Or, let it eat itself alive and invest in replacing with a fully built trans.

I'm somewhere in the middle depending on the day but leaning towards option 2 when something does decide to let go.

Well, I tried the middle, and even changed the gears to try and reduce the risk..... and on a dark stormy night, IT happened.

Yep, the need for a new tranny became apparent.

The good thing was it wasn't far from home, the bad news was well, I need to put in a new built transmission.

Disappointing, but you got to be willing to pay if you want to play.
