    C1404 and C140E Transfer Case Position Sensor and Service 4WD light

    I've had intermittent problems since I bought the truck 3 years ago, and recently got the Autoenginuity scanner to actually pull the code, and I got a c1404. My research indicates the truck doesn't specifically HAVE a position sensor, or at least I can't find a part number for the BW44-46 and having one. Before I got the Autoenginuity, I replaced the front wheel speed sensors (service 4wd light always came on after taking off to the left from a stop, odd), didn't seem to make a difference. Last month I replaced the transfer case encoder motor, to no avail. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of replacing the transfer case control module next as it seems those were a common problem, but I don't know wtf to do, dealer is no help LOL (surprise surprise). Any ideas?

    I actually use my truck off road, camping and exploring and such, so I absolutely need 4wd to work ALL the time. This issue has left me stranded once so far.
