    Battery Problem

    I need advice to give to my nephew you changed out a new battery and plugged it up wrong positive to the negative and it held on melted the terminal off and now his truck won't start any ideas??

    Good chance ECM, cables, fuses and even the battery could be toast.

    The battery is definitely shot. It is a 2010 Dodge Ram 2500, where are the fusible links located??

    Is everything else working?

    Check for the codes if the dash is lighting up.

    Big problems!

    Problem solved, 2 different fuses, those odd pink shaped 30 amp fuses were blown, they was marked pre-safe battery along with some other stuff marked on them, something about trailer tow battery main or something. Thanks for the suggestions and help guys. God bless.
