A multipurpose grease is all you need.

    It's not an airplane.

CV joints don't move around that much.

No matter what grease you use, eventually they will wear anyway.

    Amsoil is an overkill.

You'll get the same results with Valvoline.

I defy anyone to prove to me a difference in the products.

My shaft is on the original joints at 125K. By the time @F350Cummins gets my truck back to me, it will be 225.

I only been doing this for 50 years.

    Spiirrrtttt Twang!

    Re: Front Drive Shaft Greasing

Polaraco for your advice & opinions - good thing is I only paid $5 if I remember right for the three pack of Amsoil grease from a garage sale so it didn’t cost me hardly anything.

I figure that $5 (3 pack) will last me 15 years so It probably will end up a good investment.
Yes I agree - its no airplane!

LOL Leave it to a grumpy old man.

I have some very expensive silicone paste I use on everything external.

Bolts, hubs, rotors, anyware a lot of water can be seen.

I use a acid brush in it.

The pint has to be 20 years old and is maybe 2/3 used.

I know what you mean about a lifetime supply.

Somewhere I have a tub of bearing grease that is older and also used frequently.

That sucker is probably 40 years old, but alas my garage ate it.

With all the work I do, I'm amazed I haven't used more.

Now I have Alex tapping the supply @F350Cummins

    Thanks
