    Will I tell a difference

In the process of ordering my tuner and race pipe for my off road farm truck. I'm looking at just getting one tune, a 30hp because I want to keep the reliability of my truck and transmission. Will I be able to tell much of a difference or should I just get all of the tunes and try to not use them. Seems like that might be kinda hard to do. What does everyone think?

You’ll definitely be able to tell a difference as far a shift points go and the firmness involved with the shifts. 30hp isn’t going to blow your socks off, but you will be able to tell a difference and if reliability is your goal then sticking with the one tune would be a wise idea especially if you think you can’t stay away from high hp tunes.

If you decide to go with a single tune the 30 HP is a great choice.

You will definitely feel the difference and still be able to haul heavy loads.

I run the 30HP when hauling and the 90HP empty for slightly higher fuel mileage.

A deleted truck with only the 30HP tune is like driving a completely different truck...and once the transmission has "re-learned" its night and day.

The only thing i regret is not tuning my truck sooner....!!!!

I do the same.... On long highway speed trips unloaded my fuel mileage will increase even more if i bump it to 120HP and stay off the skinny pedal.

That is exactly what I do.

My truck never sees anything other than the 30HP tune.

    I did the same thang.

Got a manual in mine, so I just wanted to git ‘er back up to the 380 hp she’s rated for. I ain’t lookin to git into doin heads and injectors.

But yeah, you sure as hell will see a difference. If ya drives like a normal feller, yer mpg will go up 20-25%, yer typical boost pressure will drop by about half.

    But no, gooberment knows best.
