    Front driveshaft

What's the differences between front driveshafts in auto and manual trans trucks? Is it just length or is the flange on the t-case different as well?

I broke mine recently and there are many available for auto trucks. if need be, wondering If I can use parts from an auto version to repair mine.

The transfer case and the front axle are the same so I think it’s just the length. That said, if you’re gonna mess with it and you’ve already broken it once - you might want to consider upgrading to the 4500 series shaft and have Driveshaft Specialists build you one.

Here’s a link to the post from when I did this.
