Did you wipe off the sensor and bowl really good? Might have a thin layer of slime on it. Could be the sensor is going bad?

probably just gonna replace sensor tomorrow...they're only like $30...if it was a real water issue I would assume the light would stay on, correct?

If you had a real water issue your truck would run like crap. Did you change where you get fuel at?

Not sure about your year, but on my 15, I had to pull plug and add dielectric grease, was getting moisture in it and causing light. Been good for almost a year since then. Good luck.

Thanks fellas...I don't have a specific place I get fuel...Drive a couple hundred miles a day so, where ever I am when I need it kinda thing. I try to stick to truck stops on exists though. Will definitely try dielectric grease in plug tomorrow

Is this plug on the fuel filter itself? I have the same issue, but it only comes on when driving in the rain or on slushy/wet snow covered roads.

Yes, I had the same issue every time I would get the under body spray at the car wash mine would come on for 5-10 minutes then go off.

Dielectric grease did the trick for me before I switched to a CAT water fuel separator from BMP.
