We love the MM3, but that's just us friend.

    Ouch.

    That brand is costly.

    Any alternatives?

Changed the accelerator pedal sensor and it still can happen.

If you unplug the pedal it will "reset". No codes are thrown on the dash.

I took it to the dealer and they said they need a block of time to look at it.

Initial diagnosis showed "TCM U1400 implausible TPS signal received active".

They show things are communicating but can't find the problem.

Maybe a short in the wiring.

    Anybody?
Has this just started all of a sudden or ever since you owned the truck?

This sounds like the truck is tuned to disable the EGR but the throttle valve is still plugged in.

The plug for the throttle valve is on the bottom side of the air horn near where the EGR would have been mounted.

    Re: Dead pedal

As you can tell, I'm somewhat of a novice with this Cummins.

    I've had 5.9's before this.

So I would still need a tuner to fix the dead pedal?

Sorry man, I was hoping it would be that simple. New tuning might help, if the current tuning is the cause. If you plan on keeping the truck getting your own tuner will be worth it in the long run even if it doesn't directly resolve this problem. At least then you would know where you are starting from.

    Thanks for the idea.

I'll take any suggestion I can get.

I do have an intermittent radio.

Any ideas and are they related?
