    Sensors

    As I understand it.

A sensor such as the one on our DPF senses 3 things temp, pressure before and pressure after the SCR/DPF Now to the question.

Is sensor 1) has say 12v going to it. Post sensor output is say 4.0 to 5.0V to be in "correct operational mode/parameters".

Couldn't one wire up a set resistor to do the same thing?

To "temporarily" get you home without incurring a limp mode response from the ECM?

    Re: Sensors

Yes resistors and diodes is how I was able to delete my 07.5 months after they came out.

Not the best way to do it but you can.

Water debris etc can cause them to act funny.

You still will need a tune to close egr etc or use plates and plugs.
