    Whining/humming noise at highway speeds

I just started getting this high pitched type humming noise when pressing the pedal at highway speeds. When I let off the pedal, it stops but when I press it just to maintain speed it makes this whistling/humming noise. Any ideas?

coming from the rear of the truck? possible pinion bearing if so. i know chrysler rears used to be notorious for this. not sure if it’s still a thing.

Are you deleted? If so have you checked your block off plates and hoses to make sure they are not loose and sucking air?

Could be. What’s weird is I haven’t really heard it again. I’ll try to pinpoint the sound better when it happens again. It’s been cooler out too so maybe it’s something that’s only happening when it’s hot outside.
