Do I need to return to stock before programming with MM3?

I just purchased a MM3 tuner for my 2010 ram 2500. Cummins 6.7 obviously. LOL.

It's been deleted for a very long time.

I am currently running an H&S mini Maxx tuner for the engine as well as the overdrive transmission tune.

I have done a pressure mod to the transmission (something with accumulator plate, drilling a small hole and adding a bb/bearing to a hole.

This mod was supposed to allow higher line pressures.). The whole setup works great but it's very lacking.

My question is... Do I need to return the ECM to stock with the H&S before I re-tune with the MM3?

Also, my setup is very basic. 4" turbo back with a pass through muffler and factory resonator (it's quiet, just like I want it.) EGR delete.

Stock intake with k&n filter. No other engine mods. Stock transmission.

What settings would you all recommend while using the MM3?

    Any advice will be appreciated.

You don't need to go back to stock friend.

    Thank you for the reply.

I understand the will MM3 overwrite my current (H&S) engine tune as well as the transmission (overdrive) tune?

I just don't want to screw up anything, i.e. bricking my ECM or TCM.

    I may be overly concerned.

I just want to be sure.

    Thank you for your patience.

I currently am running a deleted tune from H&S using the Mini-Maxx.

The transmission is tuned with the Mini-Maxx as well with their overdrive tune.

    Another question.

Does the included transmission tune fix the clunky shifts and downshifts on the 68RFE?

    Welcome to the forum!!

The tuning will make the shifts firmer and better timed.

You will still feel the engine rev a bit between shifts, this is called shift flare, and is there to protect the internal components of the trans from all the torque that builds up between shifts.
