    Exhaust

I have a 2013 Laramie Longhorn with air bags that I installed to tow my fifth wheel. I want to do a delete and was wondering if I could do a five inch exhaust? Or should I just do the race pipe and be done with it? Thanks for any help

If it were me I would just do the race pipe and be done. You might have issues with a 5 around your air bags. Only thing a 5 will do is it might change the tone a little and for looks. There’s really not any benefit in my opinion.

You may want to consider adding a muffler unless you don’t mind the drone on the highway.

People have reported issues with fitment of a 5” and air bags. As stated, if you don’t want loud or any drone you’ll want a muffler especially if towing.

I believe the 5" exhaust is only beneficial to performance if you are making something like 650 HP or more.

I did a 5" Jamo with a muffler on my 2017 2500, and have a drone. Plus, I still can't get rid of the rattle on the spare heat shield. I would go with a 4" and resonator if I had the coin to do it all over again.
