Looking for any suggestions to get that @*%#! v-band clamp on.
I’m installing 5” FLO~PR exhaust by myself and having a rough time getting it on.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Ya the downpipe is a pain in the a$$ to do by yourself. But if you have a jack stand to put towards the end of the downpipe it makes things alot easier if you dont have someone to help

Yes.. try the jack stand and if you haven’t already, remove the fender liner.. it gives you much more access...
I had my girlfriend help me.. she put the clamp on while I lined it up from below.. add some grease to the seal so it will stay on... if I were you, I would go knock on my neighbors door and ask them for help.
Pay them in beer.. LOL... after the down pipe is done it’s super simple.. use jack stands to support the exhaust pieces when lining them up.

x2 on removing the fender liner for sure. And ask for help. Very simple then.
With the liner removed it is right in front of your face with easy access.
I used a jack stand on the end of mine but it still wanted to keep rolling out of my hands, in the end I was underneath lining it up while my girl friend locked the clamp on.
Glad you got it up bud

Bungee cords were very helpful.
Got the exhaust finished up and drove it to town.
All I can say is wow!
Much much faster and stronger than my old 2002 Duramax.
I just used a floor jack with the pipe tied to it for the 1 person install. But alas, I can't even lay on my back anymore.
