    Exhaust advice...

Just ordered my mm3 and cant decide wether to get a 4 or 5” exhaust with muffler. Does a 5” make that much of a difference?

    Please help, need advice.

I'm running a 5" with resonator and i like it. Makes some sound, but not too much. Performance wise 4" should be plenty unless you are making big time power. I had some clearance issues with mine so I'm sure 4" would be better in that regard. Some people say the 5"makes a drone sound when towing heavy on the highway. I don't tow that heavy so I can't speak to that.

5" with no muffler is not loud and have no problem with drone (empty) in my opinion. Sounds great. Different story on the drone if you tow a lot.

Only complaint is it rattles against the rear suspension sometimes due to clearance.

A 4" exhaust will handle up tp 700 hp.
