    Temps

I have a new 2018 cummins bought in april. First time pulling my camper i had a pretty good hill about a mile long. Coolant and oil temps both reached 206°. I was just wondering what temp is to high. I roasted a 5.9 acting like a teenager and dont want to pay that price again

Don’t know about the oil temp as my 2010 doesn’t display that (and I can’t find that parameter on my RaceMe Ultra tuner) but that coolant temp is fine. We pull a 15k fiver and are full-time RVers. I routinely see 206-208 while pulling. Fan doesn’t engage until around 217, then drops even while still pulling the grade to around 210.
