Can someone whom have already deleted & used a DPF delete pipe with a muffler - please post a pick or URL of what brand & design you went with.
I'm getting more confused on what I actually need.
I know I'm making this easy process - difficult.
I tend to over think every thing.
I would post the url of the delete kit I was looking at but it's not of a current vendor within the forum & I figured that was against the rules.
@DDP : Do you stock / sell DPF delete pipe kits with muffler?
Sorry @ work for a few hours & can't spend much time on the net searching.

@Dude's Diesel Performance can hook you up with the right kit. And will be very comparable to any online price for parts of similar quality.
I used just a delete pipe but my truck has a factory resonator/muffler at the rear axle.
If you truck has one of those too then you probably won't need an additional muffler.

I want To keep this going for a bit longer!
Wife convinced me to wait until my warranty is up - Yes I agree it's the smart choice.
If other members whom own/drive a 14-17 model year with all the OEM emissions in tacked still today & have over 100K miles (trouble free) can you please share a bit of information about your 6.7L CTD as well as your driving style & habits.
Thank you in advance!
Your info is & will be very much appreciated!
Thanks

My truck stayed in Regen for more than 100 miles the last time it Regenerated, only 7,000 miles on the truck so far.
I was staying stock until I started having issues, I had issues, so I fixed it with help from DRD.
I did the delete and I'm glad I got more than the one tune. My truck seems to prefer the 120 HP tune better than the rest and s gets better fuel mileage. I also went with the muffler and it has a nice sound and no drone. 17 Ram 3500 4x4 Aisin with the 4.10 gears!
@ bigwhittie: What brand did you end up going with?
It's hard finding a 4" DPF delete kit with a muffler .
Some of these so called Reputable companies are absolutely crazy asking over $300 for their 4" DPF delete kits!
I found through Ebay (Same quality of kit) for $130-$150.
But still no muffler!
I remember paying only $275 for my whole exhaust (4" Turbo back) on my 01 7.3L PSD. (MBRP w/Muffler)

This may be a long response but I have spent the last year changing my exhaust set up to completely eliminate the drone while towing.
When I first deleted my truck in 2017 I bought the delete race pipe and had that on my truck for about a week. It was loud and droned like crazy towing. I added a flo~pro 30" muffler. For ease of installation I measured 48" from the tail pipe and cut my race pipe there (in case I wanted to straight pipe my truck again for whatever reason). The flo~pro muffler helped quiet the truck around town but still droned pretty bad while towing. I removed the flo~pro and installed a 30" F.T.E. resonator which took care of the towing drone. The 30" F.T.E. fit perfectly where the flo~pro was. I was researching resonated mufflers and found the 4040xl aeroturbine. I had to also get another 48" S.S. 4" pipe and cut it to fit with the aeroturbine because that muffler is shorter than the flo~pro and F.T.E. resonator. The aeroturbine muffler by itself was just a little quieter than straight pipe. It didn't drone like the flo~pro but it was definatley louder than the flo~pro. I figured I would add the F.T.E. in front of the aeroturbine to eliminate the drone and quiet the truck. There really isn't a lot of room to put the F.T.E. up front by the down pipe. The 17" F.T.E. would be a better option if you are adding a muffler behind. I had to make a couple modifications to shorten the flanges on the F.T.E. This set up eliminated all of the drone and the truck sounds quiet in the cab, still sounds good outside.
I would have left it straight piped but sometimes we have to make our better halves happy to ensure our happy life.

MC: Thank you for your reply.
I have a bit of research to do - I as well will be spending a lot of the future summers towing after we purchase our new 5th Wheel.
So I really don't want a lot of drone.
But first the lovely (spoiled) daughter has to graduate PT school!
This will free up a dump load truck of $$$$ - so the wife can pick out her favorite RV!
Edit: I think - When the time comes I will go with one of the 4" delete kits - then purchase a 30" Upower diesel muffler & take it to a muffler shop & have them install the muffler in a appropriate spot & weld it all up!
Then apply a few costs of (black) high heat paint to the system.
