Just having to Only remove & replace the exhaust is a very awesome option.
You'll need to either pick between: Express, Lite, or complete options... basically any of them except emissions compliant tuning.

And you will need either 4" delete pipes or a full turbo back exhaust (4" or 5" and w/ or without muffler).

The express I believe is one power setting, the lite is 5 settings, the complete is the 5 settings and then the addition of whistle tune, 12valve, and lope if you choose.

all 5 settings will work with the added sound tunes

Re: Not Deleting shorten Engine life?

I emailed Ray with my request & asked for his thoughts / advice.

I'm only looking for the EGR/DEF delete tune & only having to remove the Stock exhaust.
I also asked for the 30hp tow tune.

I don't have any desire or need for the other tune options.

I will also request the exhaust delete kit w/muffler.
My only thoughts now are going with the 4" or 5".

Thanks Again for every ones replies.

On the exhaust, if you’re not after a certain type of sound I’d just get the cheapest. I too got the 30hp express tuning but it left me wanting more, fuel mileage is much better with the 60hp and 90hp for my truck and I think others would agree. I wouldn’t dismiss the lite tuning unless you’re just dead set on a single 30hp tune.

I got the complete package and purchased the FLO~PRO stainless steel delete pipe.

I left the rest of my factory exhaust on.

Sounds good and runs awesome now. No drone and I leave mine on the 120hp setting with the whistle tune.

Once again: Thanks to you all whom have shared your own experiences & advice!

I know the 68RFE is the weak link in the whole power train - so I'm not going to go much over stock when It comes to the tunes.
I only want a mild tune to aid in towing the family 5th Wheel when that time arrives in the near future.

It is all very much appreciated!

You’ll most definitely want to tow on the 30hp tune but I think you’ll enjoy the 60 & 90 maybe even the 120 when you’re empty. No matter what you decide I think you’ll enjoy more than a stock truck! Enjoy!

Agree here. It’s a slippery slope adding power. Enjoy the mudslide

That's the best idea. The bigger problem is the EPA recently clamped down on these delete kits.

With the new urea systems, the engine life is much higher. The killer is the EGR. You can simply unplug it and the flapper below it. @RamIt Are they using those on the 4th gens? I was one of the pioneers removing EGR's back in 08.

Are you referring to the throttle valve? If so yes they still have them.
