I tyed mine shut with some wire LOL
but if your trans starts to slip your not going to make a lot of boost either it dont make the motor work enough
i talked to east coast diesel they want me to bring the truck in to check the plumbing they think i have a pinhole somewhere thats causing it to leak he said i should have around 30lbs with my edge
that could be too I checked mine and can't find any bubbles
what did you do is it like checking for a gas leak in a house use soapy water im a plumber so thats how i check for gas leaks is that what you did i mean if i can find it myself i would rather do that than waste the fuel and money taking it to ecd

I built a adapter and took off the boost tube and put a regulator in between the air line and the adapter then put about 30psi to it
soap and water all over where you think it could leak and look for bubbles
mine was leaking on the intake plate tightened bolts and fixed it
how much diff will ten pounds make will i be able to notice it
10 lbs will be night and day difference. i wonder about your VP pump if its on its way out if theres no leaks. that or the injectorsOriginally Posted by marine03
i run around 20lbs fp and wot around 17lbs
don't go any higher than that with a VP truck
